## Guidance

### Parent advice

Pascal is a school contest, not an olympiad qualifier. Students may write only one of Pascal, Cayley or Fermat in the same year. Younger students may write a higher contest.

### Student advice

You do not need Gauss to enter Pascal. If you want the Canadian olympiad pathway, look at CMS’s COMC instead.

### Teacher advice

2027 Americas window 23 or 24 February; elsewhere 24–25 February. CAD $6 per participant plus order/shipping charges.

## How to prepare
