The summer holidays provide the perfect opportunity for students to attend a Summer Course, to keep their studies active and to work in an engaging learning environment.
Attending a Summer Course with Oxford Science Studies gives students the chance to get ahead and to start the new academic year in the best possible way. Particularly useful for those moving up from GCSE and IGCSE to IB and A Level, where the difference in content and knowledge can be substantial.
Students may revise material covered in the previous year and gain an insight into the new material that they will encounter upon their return to school. OXSS have subject specialists ready to help with most classroom subjects across the GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A Level and offer small group tuition, with a maximum of 6 students timetabled per class.
The focus of this course is academic, though the residential students will also take part in the evening entertainment programme, allowing time for relaxation and to join in on various social activities.
Apply today to create a bespoke timetable, fitting study around holiday plans, and selecting the week(s) that suit best. Students receive an individual timetable, selecting the specific subject options that suit their needs, and can focus on up to 3 different subject options per week.
Courses also include additional workshops to focus on skills and concepts such as the how to cope with exam stress and anxiety, strategies for exams or metacognition, as well as challenges, focusing usually on writing, photography or engineering.

Highlights: Small Class Sizes; Maximum 6 students; Multiple subject per week : choose up to 3 subject options (most subjects offered); Expert subject specialists; Structured and engaging learning environment; Contemporary course location for day only or residential stay
