## Summary

The Senior Team Maths Challenge (STMC) gives students in the sixth form the opportunity to tackle engaging maths activities while developing teamwork and communication skills. Teams of four compete in regional finals across the UK, with high-scoring teams invited to the National Final.

The challenge is for pupils in Year 12 and Year 13 (England and Wales), Year 13 and Year 14 (Northern Ireland), or S5 and S6 (Scotland). Each team may include a maximum of two pupils from the older year group.

Regional Finals consist of starter questions and three scored rounds: The Group, The Crossnumber and The Shuttle. Past papers are available for practice.
